1.take a magnet and a card board with some nails.
2.place the card board in a flat surface and lie the magnet there.
3.then,scatter the nails near the poles and shake the card board a bit....
you'll find the nails arranging themselves in a particular order.these are the lines of force of the magnet....

Probably the best would be to place metal objects on a magnet and create more magnets. You can also demonstrate the fields and how they function.

Place a small, cheap rectangular magnet into a small plastic car so that it is hard to see. Tape it or glue it.

Now, with another magnet you can either push the car (like poles) or pull the car (opposing poles.)
