I think my boyfriend is acting fishy, but my instinct tells me that it is not another woman. He disappeared for awhile and then popped back up on Christmas Eve. He said he still loved me and that nothing has changed, and has yet declined to tell me why he disappeared.

In the last convo we had before his disappearance, it was great and he said that he was lucky to have me and wanted to love me for a long time (English isn't his first language, so sometimes things come out sounding funny).

I definitely know that him being with another person is a possibility...I'm not stupid...but my heart tells me this isn't the case. what other reasons would make a person act strange all of a sudden?

Bottom line is you still don't know what it was that made him disappear for a time. You'd better find out, because nothing can kill a relationship faster than doubt. If you don't find out you will doubt him and lose trust. Don't accuse him without the proof, in other words don't go looking for trouble where trouble may not exist. Simple ask him what it is that you need to know, and if he can't tell you, I would suggest that you leave the relationship. You can not expect the relationship to survive without honesty and good communication. Either he talks, or you should walk...away.

Is he a free bird or a married man? You need not be at home or not pick up phone when he disappearence again, don't let him go without let you know. He can disappeare because he know where he can find you.

Does he feel pressure from you, his culture, or anything else that would make him feel he's supposed to be committing himself to you? I think he's feeling pressure because he went so far as to tell you he wanted to be with you a long time, etc. but then the pressure got to him, and he needed to escape for a while. Maybe he needs a bit more independence, time of his own to do whatever, then if you two are meant to be, you'll be stronger because he's gotten that time that he needs...
