Is it wrong for believers to help unbelievers? Please don't give your opinion. I am looking for Scripture references here. If you have a reference, please give it. Thanks!

The closest thing I can think of is:

2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

But nothing specifically about money and unbelievers.

No that is not the way the Bible says at (Galatians6:10) that as long as we have time favourable for it , let us work what is good toward all, and especially toward those related to us by faith,so that scripture shows that it is wrong to treat anyone badly but we are to do good toward all, even though t does say especially toward those related to us in the faith,that nevertheless this does not mean that we don't do good to unbelievers and no there isn't any scripture that I have ever seen that says that we should not help unbelievers there is nothing like that in the Bible but quite the opposite is true, it says we should be doing good and helping all no matter if they are believers or not, as you can see if you look up the scriptures I posted above in this answer.

There is nothing in the Bible that says not to help unbelievers. There is these verses:

Matthew 5:40-42
"And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you."

This includes non-believers if you read the entire section as a whole. The entire text of Matthew 5 discusses giving and doing what is right: loving even those who persecute you.

Is it wrong? No. We are to help everyone. There is no specific bible reference that says anything about unbelievers except for believers to not be unequally yoked with them. Light and Darkness cannot share the same space (believer and unbelievers cannot reside together because their views are different thus disharmony results). Giving is from the heart. God is looking at why you gave and not to whom and how much. The condition and state of your heart when you give is what the Lord is concerned about.

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Luk 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Throughout the Bible there are stories of a believer serving an unbeliever.

Esther served a gentile king.
Joseph served a gentile pharoah.
Jesus served and died for an unbelieving world.

Mat 5:40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have [thy] cloke also.

Jam 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Doesn't say believing orphan or widow....just orphan and widow.

There are commandments in the OT regarding helping unbelievers. Deut. 24:17ff discusses caring for "resident aliens." If we follow the example of Jesus' ministry we see that many of the people he helped were Gentiles, or other people considered religiously/spiritually unclean. The story of the good Samaritan is told in response to the question "who is my neighbory?" The Samaritan is the one who shows kindness and mercy, not the others, who were Jews.

The Bible says

Gal 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

But, I don't think you can use this to justify giving money for an un-just cause. For example, it would be wrong to give an un-married couple who are living togethter rent money; rather give them food or clothing or assistance in getting SEPERATE lodging.

Rom 14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

No. Believers should do good to believers and non believers alike. As it is written in Mathew 5:44-48

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

I don't get why it would be wrong? I am fairly new to the bible/Christianity but the message I got from the story of Jesus is that he hung around the "tax collectors and prosititues". He was around people who were lost, living/showing his message of peace. It is the very people we SHOULD be helping, not helping those who already recieved the message.

Jhn 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

If Jesus hadn't given aid, where would the Gentiles be?

2Cr 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
This refers to business and marriage.
