I'm a real good dancer, and i've been taking lessons since i was three, so i want to go to a performing arts school, but my dad wont let me. What should i do?

Keep taking lessons, keep practicing, and continue to talk to your dad and let him know how important it is to you. Also, at the same time, seek guidance and critique from dancers you respect. Be sure that you have faith in your abilities. Being a really good dancer isn't good enough. Only being the best is. Make sure you really understand where your abilities lie in relation to other kids your age before you bet your life on it.

Well teh first thing is to determine why he does not want you to attend. There may be a compromise. See if there is an after school program you can get into that involves dance..

Try discussing it with him. Tell him that he is stopping you from accomplishing your dreams and then whine a lot.

Cry a lot, not necesssarily in front of him all the time.
