If someone you really have a crush on tells you they are not ready to date you, how soon do you lose interest and stop thinking about them after they tell you they are not interested?

It takes about a few weeks to lose interest completely. Although, it is tough if you see the person constantly but if you don't, then you are not always thinking about them and the thoughts of dating them just fade away with time.

Hard to say every one feels diffrent, i would say a matter of a few weeks might even be sooner. I had a big crush on a guy once, yeah i was hurt when he said he didnt feel the same towards me.
It seemed with in 2 weeks i met someone i so wasnt looking for, and for got the other guy with in no time. Funny thing was after he knew i had met someone else, he started to show interest ( a little to late)....His lost

I lose interest fast.
I will lose interest straight away because i am turned off by there actions.
Until the next time i meet them i will slowly get to like/love them more.

depends on the person and how much i am crushing over them. For most of the guys that i've had a crush on....it was just a phase and then moved on...but didn't take long.
