Agnostics spineless? You must be joking. You don't get it dude. An agnostic is somebody who's not afraid to be honest. An agnostic is somebody you can trust.
So many atheists say "I don't see it so it doesn't exist" and that is obviously illogical. There's tons of stuff you don't see and which exists anyhow.
So many theists pretend to "know" all about a God they know nothing about, and have never seen, because church doctrine tells what to think. Is that honest?
But an agnostic has the dignity and integrity and self-respect to say: Maybe God is real but I haven't seen him. Therefore I won't preach you sermons about God. I won't pretend to know something I don't nor will I rule out the existence of God because I can't. Agnostics call it like they see it. They don't pretend. They'll tell you what they know and what they don't know. Agnostics don't spread manure.

Yes.
Charecteristics of an agnostic:
An agnostic has a "spineless" open mind. He tries to promote open-mindedness with whatever he says. He doesn't believe in a truth unless he can prove it for himself. An agnostic does not believe in "absolute knowledge" -- he believes in "continuous improvement". An agnostic keeps himself "spineless", as "spinelessness" offers greater flexibility. So agnostics are less susceptible to dogma.
Characteristics of an atheist (compared to agnostics):
Atheists are just as dogmatic as the religious folks -- they believe that they know everything -- just like the religious folks.

An agnostic what? Agnostic theist...? Agnostic atheist...?
An agnostic atheist simply lacks the belief. A gnostic atheist is that but also declares there is no god.
An agnotic theist believes but not 100%. A gnostic theist completely believes.
These are 4 of 7 categories though. The rest are in between basically.

There may be such "spineless" agnostics but I'm not one. I come from a faith background and I still see value in it. I don't invest in supernatural doctrines anymore but I appreciate them metaphorically. And I've known too many people who were transformed by faith to dismiss it entirely. I genuinely do not know whether there is a God or not. Life seems to fit either way. And in that state I can converse with theist or atheist (except for those who take themselves too seriously).

consistent with danger the agnostic believes there's a lot of knowledge to assist the life of God, a god or gods yet what that data is, is the place the confusion gadgets in. i could tend to even factor out on your person question which you employ the be conscious "if", which may make all of the version interior the international. IF there replaced into actual no data for the life of God then logically possible could end that atheism may be the technique of have, however the secret's "IF." So i could think of the excellence is amazingly significant, particularly in case you ask an agnostic.

It seems ,particularly in this community. That it takes more strength to openly state,"No,I cannot agree with the Biblical interpretation of God.Nor the literal interpretation of God by any religion."
Ask a Q, you get no answer!
I don't accept direct scripture quotations an answer. It takes no intellect to do that.
But I do see it as a cop-out by someone who has a belief based on a fear and blind faith.
It does appears that,so called agnostics and atheists have a higher intellect, simply because they find the need to question before accepting something as absolute truth.

I believe ther is another side... There are those who definitely feel a leaning to something spiritual which is bigger than themselves. Speaking for myself I always loathed religion, religious people, and the very idea of religiousity brought to mind idiots, fools, a-hos and sexual deviates. In time I found myself on a path of enlightenment and spiritual growth thru eastern philosophies. I came to appreciate something greater than myslef which is not just science or the mind and it is real and complete.
I still despites and loath anything and everything religious.
The very thought that at this point I would still be floundering in a conscious void of INTELLECT is terrifying and I would rather be dead. I cant envision it as being livable.

We can not prove nor disprove the existence of God. Agnosticism is a recognition of this truth. The only intellectually honest position is to say "I don't know". Theism and atheism are like each other in that they are ideological positions not rational ones.

Agnostic means without knowledge. They do not say that there is no God. Atheists say there is no God.
