religion and its ritualistic rules are man made.

I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I do believe in religion and there is no one, consequential reason for it; the sacred texts of Christianity, Islam and Judism cannot have been forged by man alone even if they underwent changes across history.
There is stark consistency between the Scriptures of these three religions and reading all three leads me to believe that they were originally revealed by God Himself.
Science will never be able to answer certain questions whether they be related to the human body or the space. there are millions of answered questions in science and the fact that man has been unable to answer so much despite so much progress tells me that there is some One out there who knows all of these things to begin with.
The Big bang et al is a hoax of speculation about time billions of years ago; such a remote conjecture would not hold any weight with me.
This world is running with inherent equilibrium in the passing of night and day, the movement of planets, the stages of the moon and to think that all of this happened of its own accord seems a bit whimsical to me.
I am very comfortable with my conviction that there is a God who created and runs all of these systems.
And yes, I do not think religion is for answering those questions that science cannot because religion is far above human debate which at the end is nothing but exchange of speculative conjectures.
And so in every such gathering of two people, God would be the third, smiling to him Self.
(And now I will brace for assault in the answers to come... and smile at them)
Cheers.

Do I believe that religion exists? Yes. Do I hold religious beliefs? No. Why not? Because I don't need to.

I believe in two things

God

and a way to God.

The word religion reflects the efforts of man in trying to find a way to God.

It shouldnt be what it has turned into today.

A political power struggle to get everyone on your side when you yourself have faults and probably do more sin by concentrating on other peoples behaviour when you should concentrate on YOUR OWN.

Everybodys responsible for themselves first and foremost.

Yes, I'm a Hindu. I believe in religion because it works as a path to fulfillment of the deepest desires of the soul.

No. I believe in God. I believe in Jesus. But I don't believe in the church. It's corrupt and filled with vice.
