what your going to want to do and have to is go to you gym at least four times a week, remember to get rest and eat alot more that what you normally do. doctors are now saying 5-6 meals aday. but not junk food. also start out slow, and slowly build up. two weeks ago i was at 133lbs and im about 5'11''-6', and now im 145lbs and gaining muscle. so i know it works from my personal experience, just remember everyone is different, and good luck. one other thing is to stretch really good before you do any exercises.

biggest thing is to move more and eat less. the fastest way to lose 5 or so pounds safely is to cut out salt and junk food and drink a lot of water.
this will get rid of a lot of water retention and make you look thinner quick. Park at the far end of parking lots and take stairs instead of elevators etc...
OOPS, I thought you said lose 10-20, sorry, I've never tried to gain weight, I've heard lots of carbs and protein...

if you are old enough. i gained weight fast by drinking mickeys malt liqour beer! i got huge in a month.
