Does anyone know the translation of "hieu khong", from vietnamese to english?

a friend wrote this to me, won't tell me what it means, and i wasn't able to look it up

It means, "Do you understand?"

When my Chinese wife talk about me to someone she uses these words (?), so I would translate this into "my husband".... just my two cents....
