If its stock, it should be pretty fine. The GT-R is a tuff son-of-a-datsun, and if running standard boost all its life it will keep going hard to at least 100k miles (160 000km). Don't muck with it - the value lies in understatement, not overkill. 17" or 18" wheels are plenty, 265 rear 245 front, nice intercooler, mint colour. Exhaust has probably been done, if not, do it, but remember less is more when it comes to the rear end look. No coffee can needed on a beast like this. Turbo is ceramic unit (i think), if it working fine, dont muck with it. Don't lower it too much, stick to Nismo or HKS guidelines. Ive got a 400hp+ Z32 Nismo ZX, and Im wary of all R34s when I see em - they are serious firepower. Enjoy it.

Stock is good. Don't get anything that's been too heavily modified or else the previous owner would have thrashed it.

Get a mechanic to go through the car and make sure it hasn't been in an accident as well as being properly looked after.

I probably wouldn't worry since the majority of GTR R34 owners knows what they own and probably spent a good deal of care on it.

I'm damn jealous of you!!!!

Congrats on your future purchase. Have fun with it. And hopefully I'll have the chance to have my EVO doors blown away by your BEST OF THE BEST R34.

Dream of a car... remember insurance. I would check around for rates before buying... you might be unpleasantly suprised.
