Although they claim no attraction to spiritual matters. It is as the Moth attracted to the flame. They will keep dabbling and making excuses for the attraction. But unbeknownst to them, they are picking up knowledge and insight. Their spirit is begging for information!!
I knew a young man not to long ago. He put a second hand suit on out of mockery. He was being cool, in his mind and making a statement. I told him beware, the suit was going to get him. It had been worn by an elderly gentleman with a very strong Christian background. He laughed. He wore the suit every day as a mockery tword all religion and responsible people of any kind. He was a drug addict. With in a few weeks there was a change in his attitude. He didn't have the negative attitude, He quit drinking and doing drugs. He started going to church about the third month. With in six months he was serving a mission for his church. THE SUIT WON!!

I think people with no apparent religious or spritual foundation in thier lives have a need to fill the empty cavity. I don't think many of them will/would take up a religion, however, it is interesting, and even for Satanists as well, to see what all the hype is about.
I do not believe in christianity, Christ, Ghosts, or other paranormal but I do believe in spirituality. There is a difference and it is interesting to compare the idealogies of organized, legal religions (that would include priest, preachers, fathers, etc that prey on young boys to feed their sexual hunger)

I think that you should have learned how to spell "atheist" before you started typing.
I know you'd like to think that I am searching for something, but you'd be wrong. I'm not searching for what you offer. I'm searching for other people who think as I do. We don't have a category for ourselves - if there were an Atheism & Humanism category, I'd be there with bells on (and I bet that it would be invaded by Christians all day every day). This is the best that Yahoo Answers offers to me, so I'll take it, thank you.
Oh...and I wouldn't be too sure of this being a great place for Christians to convert non-believers, either. When I joined Yahoo Answers, I was still a believer, and the questions and answers I encountered here made me acutely aware of how ridiculous some of my beliefs were. Happy to be a Secular Humanist now, and I have the R & S section of this site to thank in part for that.

First, learn how to spell. It'll propel you farther in the world. Trust me.
Second, religion and spirituality doesn't mean you have to be a die hard Christian. Unlike you, some people actually are tolerant of others and can have a decent and mature conversation with resulting to hissy fits and cursing your brains out.
Third, it's free will. You're behind your computer surfing the web, and the sections of Yahoo! If you don't like it, click the 'X' on your browser and ignore it all together.
And your analogy makes no sense. If you want to see what people are saying, aren't you allowed to?

Well why do keep asking us questions? What is this some kind of place where you ask & answer peoples questions. No it couldn't possibly be open for anyone, only special people that beleive in god. Maybe you should think about why you just asked why someone is on a site called answers
hmmmm. To ask & answer questions

When is Athiesm not a spiritual matter? So only those that support religion should be in the religion/spirituality section. Sounds like you're a bit of a communist too. That is what gets me about the "religious", and I am not an athiest. But I am not a blooming hypocrite like you and most of your brethren.

If you saw a bunch of muslims everyday asking why their prayers weren't being answered, wouldn't you be tempted to respond that they were worshipping the wrong god? Just a little bit?

Honestly, I believe that Satan compells atheists to go here so they can criticize the Christians, scrutinize our answers, and see if we will go away.
The thing is, God is strong within His people, and we will not back down when challenged by Satan.
Satan thinks he can win. And by bringing the atheists into these forums to pick apart our beliefs, he thinks we will be discouraged. But I tell you now, I have my Bible beside me at all times on these forums, and I am always ready to quote God on anything. The truth is, it is Satan whispering his lies to us through atheists, lies like "Why should you bother?" and "There is no God." Satan is hoping we will believe these lies just as the atheists have. But, in responding to these questions, I find that my relationship with God grows stronger, not weaker, with their opposition, because I use everything I know to strand up for my beliefs, and I always manage to learn something new on the way.
As a Christian on these forums, you just have to make sure your roots are planted firmly in your beliefs and you recognize the Devil when you hear him. The Armor Of God is always the best defense you can possibly have.
PS- Dear Satan,
GOD HAS ALREADY WON!!

I agree, most atheists are only here to try to discount Christians and sow seeds of doubt. It doesnt bother me that they are here Im just simply giving my opinion of why they are here.
