A world without religion might be far more interesting. Then maybe people would be able to think for themselves, rather than hiding behind what their pastors say and religious books. Religious fanatics provide countless hours of mindless entertainment for some of us. It is best to seek your own truth. Research all information.

I'm sure that we're gonna open a can of warms here, but I go along with you. There has been too much violence over religion in the world already. Look at the Middle East. All the different religions fighting over whose is better, and in the end, they all wind up dead, and are trained to kill others that don't believe what they believe. I don't think we need any more violence, religions are supposed to be peaceful. I always say you don't need a sports person or actor/actress as a role model, they are human, which makes them fallible. Follow examples from your family, and if you're family isn't so hot, like many aren't, then believe in yourself and what you can do in this life, and the difference you can make in the world and be the best person you can be.

Well, My best friend is a jew... My BF is a Turkish muslim, my dad was a protestant, my brother is an atheist and I'm a catholic. We all live in perfect peace and harmony.
Even if a world with no religion, someone would fight over one thing or another. My laws are better than your laws, my grass is greener than your grass, my d*** is bigger than your d***.
Humans have a choice. Unfortunately not everyone makes the right one. Fanacisims and prejudice is the problem, not religion. Instead of claiming there is no god, why not just teach our children to be good to our fellow human beings, regardless of their faith?

Be thankful we dont live in either. Be thankful we live in a world where the 3 main religions are fundamentally peaceful.

I believe this world would be a better place to live in if racism, prejudice, hatred and favoritism didn't exist; and for everyone to show love, respect, honor, honesty, and integrity towards others.
