yes, God knows all things. keep in mind that Jesus was not only the holy Son of God, he was also a man. he was human. he lived during a certain time and place. he did not know all things like God. no one during Jesus' life on earth knew about the Americas but that doesn't mean that God didn't know. Jesus most likely believed that the earth was flat because that was the belief during that time period. Jesus did not know everything when he lived on earth because he was a human as well as divine. his humanity prevented him from knowing all things at all times. i hope this makes sense :)

According to the Mormon Faith after Christ was crucified he came to North America to preach to the natives here. That is all I know about that. I don't believe this to be true.
