Let's say for example it is a younger Twenty-something and up average white or mixed race guy with wavy dark blond hair and he is in shape and decent looking with nothing unusual about his face.
As a rule would he look better wearing longer hair that is well kept or short Military style hair?

I would say keep it longer (not past the shoulders though, unless the guy in your example is into metal or in a metal band =D), but Military style hair looks clean and sophisticated, so I don't think the guy in your example would look bad either way.

Most will surely look good with the short military hair style but in case of long hair style very few men can go with it like for eg. Milind Soman or Aamir Khan in "Mangal Panday". A person who has a quite a strong face will surely look cool with a long hair style.

Depends on the guy. Can't really tell without a picture, face shape etc. I like a guy with wavy hair that is longer as long as it's not a mess.

Generally speaking, I like what is most fashionable at the time, however, as a rule I appreciate any individual who isn't afraid to be different and sport a look that few people have. My husband has long curly hair right now and I LOVE it.

I think guys who wear their hair long have a grungy look to them, if they are all for that then go ahead and keep it long. A short hair cut though would tell me that the guy is into keeping up with his appearance and it would seem more mature. Personally I like guys with shorter hair.

guys with darker hair should sometimes go with the very hot long orlando bloom style but if u have lighter hair you shouldnt military it but not too long but longer hair is definatly a turn on for most girls right now

Hey man, im not gay dont worry, but i have long curly hair, all the girls in my school love it and play with my hair. Even a few seniors (im a freshman) mess with my hair randomly, its an awesome tool
