He can't stand the non-winter weather. He says "goodbye" and "don't you cry, I'll be back again someday."

See Frosty is a snowman..... Snowmen are made out of snow which melts by heat. Before he leaves he takes the kids to the town square where they meet the trafic cop. Then he tells the kids "saying don't you cry, I'll be back again someday"
Thing I don't get is if that old hat had some magic in it, why would Frosty still melt away when he is magic.Wouldn't he would be normal.

B/c winter is over and the snow melts which is what the snowman is made of and poof he is gone till the next winter or till the next snow storm
