does care = love? when you love someone, i would assume you care about them. but if you care about someone, do you love them to a certain extent? not be in love with them, but perhaps still love them in some way? what's the difference between care and love?

Care is a big part of loving someone... And you can't love someone if you don't care about them. I would not say that care=love because you can care about people without loving them. You can care about your doctor, teacher, neighbor, etc but it does not mean that you love them. To care for someone is a natural thing that does not necessarily require love... It may not reflect how you feel about that person but how you are as a person... which is a caring person!!!

I agree that when you love somebody and don’t care - that’s not love. Because I think Love forces you to be careful about the thing or person. And be caring is the basic need of love to someone.

In my opinion there are many different levels of care, in the upper levels of caring then yes you love then, in the lower levels of care you do not... an example of this could be the fact that you might care about and object such as you care if your TV works today, tho you probably don't love your TV... same thing with people.... this is just my opinion, but it was a thinker....

When you love somebody and dont care - thats not love.
But its very easy to fall in love while caring for somebody. Care may be one sided feeling but love is always mutual.
also, when one cares and starts loving - most difficult part is to convey the feelings.

u can't love someone and not care about them but u can care about someone and not love them. when u care u just wanna make sure they're ok but when u love it's so much more

i would say that you can care about someone and not love them. there are lots of people that i care about, like i care enough to hope that they don't get hit by cars, but i don't love them by any means.
