This guy is in the same community as I am. One time, we there was this social event for the members of our community. Since we consider each other friends, we were told by the host of the party to apologize and thank those people we feel we owe it to. So we ended up hugging each other and all that.

Then this guy who I like (and he knows I like him) hugged a lot of his female friends. Then when I called his attention many times for him to hug him, he ignored me many times too. Then when I had my chance I tried to hug him and he pushed me away AND THE WAY HE ACTED AND HIS FACE REACTED, HE LOOKED AS IF HE FEELS I WAS SEXUALLY HARASSING HIM.

Now this is surprising to me coz some time when he sees me, he presses his cheek against mine as a sign of greeting (this is the like the standard sign of greeting in our community. Also, I have talked and been with this guy in a lot of events so it's not like we don't have a foundation of friendship or anything like that.

There was even one event wherein he held out his hands to me as in an embrace when he saw me and was saying hi.

And if he doesn’t like to to have any touching contact with me, why did he touch my knee one time just to call my attention or my arm or my bare shoulder and why does he press his cheek against mine.

So the next time, I see him and he tries to press his cheek against my cheek as a sign of greeting, should I push him away like he did to me??????????

It’s just that the host just told us that we can approach people we would like to thank or people we would like to apologize to or just approach our friends in the community just to hug them for everything that we've been through, for all the times we had fun, laughed cried and all that. Just approach and hug our friends, that’s all. It’s not necessary that we an apology to the person we hug. We could hug just about anyone that we consider our friend. A lot of his female friends hugged him so I tried to, only he pushed me away.

He likes control- forget this one! He is playing games- move on. If he was really interested, he would not do that at the risk of hurting you or scaring you away.

I'm not sure I'm understanding everything here properly. But, if hugging at this event meant that you were apologizing to people you owed this to, then I'd say he pushed you away, because he didn't want an apology from you. That, from my point of view, would mean that you may not want him and he would therefore be upset from this and not want your apology (in the hug form). I think he likes you. Am I even close to home here? 'Cause I'm really kind of lost in the shuffle of this dance you all do within your community. And, I'm not trying to be mean or condenscending at all.

that is not sexual harassment to boost a woman. it somewhat is sexual harassment in case your compliments are undesirable and pointless, or beside the point for the placement of work. maximum folk be attentive to the version.

Get over yourself, you must be trying to put the move on him and all he wants is to be friends.
