I am 6'1" tall and my first boyfriend (which lasted about 2 months) just broke up with me and started seeing a much smaller girl.I am concerned that me being so tall, like, intimidates guys?
I just wanted to know if it's really that big of a deal. I mean, I am 6'1", play basketball and volleyball (so I am pretty fit), and not like I'm gross or anything. Just any info would be a help. =)

i think guys DO prefer shorter girls sorry to say. my boyfriend is 6'4 so there ARE guys out there that are taller than you if thats what youre concerned about. when you meet the right person he will not care about your height. please dont worry youself about this. its not even an issue. good luck in the dating scene

You know I'm 6'1" too. I always wanted to date a girl that was my height or taller. I never did, but I do believe that there are a lot of other guys out there that feel the same way I do.
Stay away from those little puny guys though.

the interest varies from person to person but you need not to worry about your bf since he likes small girls.but there are millions of guys in this world who likes height of a girl .in fact only the heightable persons are attracting the wholer world.
sometimes small heights have some advantages so some guys like small heights.there is inferioty in guys that they may not satisfy the girl of good height.but it's only a psychological problems.

honestly, some guys are intimidated by that, being the whole man thing, i dont mind it at all and i think its a bit sexy, it just depends on guys, but try to detect when u can be over bearing at times, dont let up on it but just lower it

yea definately. i would be freaked out to date a girl thats 3 or more inches taller than me. its just demeaning for the guy. even if the guy doesnt think so, deep down he still feels it.
youre gunna just have to go for guys that are atleast your height or taller.

men are shallow...just find a guy taller than you and he will be happy. Also may even enjoy it more if he is really tall, so he feels he is with a women, NOT a 5'2 child.

Nothing at all wrong with you. If you have a nice personality don't worry about flakey guys . Its their loss. Theres better out there.

Think about this. Statistically, the odds are high that the next girl he'd date WOULD be shorter than you. Please don't read too much into it. Sometimes a relationship just doesn't work.
