I think that is a great idea. If we own it and we invest in the economy we can make it a strong "state" and keep the residence interested in staying down there.
I like it!

Yeah illegal immigration will end... but look at the brighter side... Spanish will be the official language due to higher populaltion of "minorities" of Spanish speaking voters... and vacation costs will soar even more... not to forget a host of other problems that will bring. You make it sound soooOOOooo easy but the reality is much, much, much harder. Mexico belongs to Mexico and USA belongs to USA.. let's keep that way...

My suggestion was to send all the people from New Orleans who were homeless after Katrina to Mexico. I mean they have plenty of jobs down there because that's where all the US industries went. They also have plenty of room because all the Mexicans are in the US.

Sounds like a take over to me.....so with that reasoning.......being that there are a lot of Koreans and Filipinos that are considered OTM's(other then Mexico) illegals, do we take their country also.
Do you also know that Mexico is one of the richest countries in the World with their natural resources. But, it is a corrupt government system, that keeps Mexicans poor and coming to the US.
Get some "facts", not some "smacks" in Y!A !!!!!!!
Sounds like something a spoiled little rich girl would want to do, with her "daddy's and mommy's" monies.

Mexicans thought about the white greed long ago. Foreigners are not allowed to own land, especially beach front land.

You would have to deal with the cartels, they run Mexico not the gov't, and the fees would be outrageous. Of course we could "take it" if we wanted it, but we don't.

Why do that? The US is doing everything that Mexico wants anyway.
