DesignYourWall.com has faux wood wallpaper you might be able to apply with some wallpaper paste.

You can go to your local craft store and purchase a stencil and a plaster type product made for this application, if you intend to paint the peice of furniture. If not you can find lots of wood peices at Lowes, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or whatever is in your area.
