im in 8th grade and i have liked boys before (as most girls have) but i have never day dreamed, listened to the same CD over and over and over again because it reminds me of him, look out the window, or any other object, and not see anything but him, not pay attenion in class because im too busy writing my first name with his last name and well just his name all over my "notes", not doing my homework cause i cant pay attenion cause he is always on my mind, and just having him on my mind 24/7... im not obsessed with him it is just that every other guy i have liked was always in the back of my mind and now he is taking control of my brain! i dont know what the HECK is going on he is a really sweet guy (as sweet as guys my age get) and has a pureawesome personality and he can make me laugh when i want to cry...no guy could ever do that to me before
so once again i ask you
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH ME??!!??!!!!!??

I did the exact same things when I fell in love with this guy.
Like you said, he was on my mind 24/7. I listened to the same song over and over until my parents went insane.
I wrote his name about 50 times a day and even wrote his last name after my first name too. Just like you're doing.
It's normal behavior. You are just DEEPLY in love!
It's wonderful. Enjoy it.

Your a girl in 8th grade....that's what's going on with you. And just so you know....he wont be the last guy you do this with. I cant tell you how many different versions of my last name I have practiced writing!

teenage hormones...give it a week or so and it will subside. Or if you want to get it over sooner, go and see if he has the same feelings for you. Maybe he does and you and him can be "boyfriend and girlfriend" for a while. maybe he doesn't and this daydreaming will go away alot sooner
Pay attention to your school work, people come and go, what you learn in school you will need later in life and will rely on for later clases.

That happens to me sometimes. After about a week or so, it stops and things go bask to normal. It's like a total hormone rush.
