My ex broke up with me, and I wanted to know, after a guy breaks up with his gf or vice versa, would he steel have feelings for her? Or do they not care at all... why don't they ever come strait out and admit to their ex girlfriends that they still like them?

It's hard not to have feelings for an ex. Unless things went terribly wrong, of course. Most people don't come straight out and say it because sometimes it is best to move on and they know that if they voice their feelings, the relationship will rekindle even though it ended for a reason. Also, sometimes they don't know how their ex will respond to it.

hey listen girl.. guys too have heart... and they too are emotional.... but not over emotional...
guys too have feelings... they too feel hurt and they miss the person whom they once loved... i am an indian and majority indians are like this... i dotn know about people in other countries....
but there is one thing which you must remember.... guys are emotional and they have feelings, but they can still supress it and get on with their lives... also, if they break up, they will keep looking for a different mate.... there are many mentalities which come into the picture... and since not all guys are alike, i dont know how your ex will be...
remember guys are known to be hard hearted than girls.... thats the primary difference ..... so they may not have feelings attached always.. and even if they do, they wont speak out... their ego comes in between....

Of course, some people still have feelings, I mean they were in love at one time or another. Some will hate each other until the day they die, and some will still love them no matter where they might be in life. Love is a very powerful thing and also a very dangerous thing.

yes of course, if the girl broke up with the guy well that usually says it all, the guy wasnt even finished with the relationship, but has to accept it anyway cause they cant do anythink about it. They wont say it because they are confused and hope that they can just forget it and carry on.

You will always have feelings for somebody you shared part of your life with. There are a couple of women I'd like to forget...lol. I think even after a bad break up and as time goes by, you still have feelings, even thouogh they may be buried deep inside.

The better question is, "do people still have feelings for people they once had a relationship with". Of course we do! We spend time with people, sometimes a long time and get to know them well...maybe love them....and when that ends we still do have feelings and memories. That is normal human behavior. We just have to smile, acknowledge it, realize those people and times make us who we are, and be Thankful to God for those moments.

Let me tell ya a story that really really hurt me. The guy im seeing now, when he and i started dating he told me he loved me and i was the only one and we need to get married. Well i fell for ihim very quick, and went to talk to his ex just to see how he treated her, and she told me bad things, saying she was going to call the cops cause all he does is call her and drive by her house everyday. She told me that he called her the night before. well i went home and confronted him and he didn't lie, but he broke up with me because he though he and her was going to be back together, well he called me everyday and told me he loved me and held on to me. I felt abused and like i was only around because them 2 wasn't getting back together. well i got pregnant and told him i will not take 2nd place to any other person and im not afreaid to leave, and sure enough he told me sorry and it never happen again. So your answer is most def. yes!!!! Be careful and watch whats going on. you don't deserve to go though what i went though.

Look. Just because you break up doesn't mean your feelings go away immediately. Feelings aren't a water faucet that you turn on and off. So get on with life and sleep with someone else.
