Well, I'd say hating something that is good.
By loving something that is bad, you are giving that thing a chance at redemption. By hating something that is good, you are harming an innocent thing, and closing yourself to it.

I guess it comes down to what interpretation of good and bad we use. Some people think pornography is good, healthy, not hurting anyone. Others feel it's bad and degrading. As a Christian I think hating something that is good is worse because I believe good things come from God.

Crap, a question here is making me THINK. I suppose, as the state the world is in, I'd have to say it's worse to hate something good. Too many people already do that and I would hate to add to it, so I'd just love something bad. If I had to. Thankfully, I don't, but probably do anyway.

Wow - those are two extremes. "Loving something bad" seems destructive, as does "hating something good". If you recognize it is good, how can you hate it? If it is bad, how can you like it? You must be rebellious of something or running from something. I would step back, look at the real CORE issue, and deal with that. It'll help. May God go with you.

Wonderful question. Very interesting thought. I love questions like these because the answer isn't obvious and must be thought through....
Loving something bad....
I love smoking. It's not good for me. I love to have a beer in the weekend, also not good for me. It could lead to my temporal death, but cannot destroy my soul.
Hating something good...God is the source and author of all things good. So hating Him or His goodness could destroy your soul. Since God is the source of good, hating good is closely linked and could affect your relationship with God. So I think it is worse to hate good than to love bad.
My personal opinion.

I think it is worse to hate something good. If you think that it is good...and you still hate it...you're doing it out of spite.
Bad things are wonderful...like cigarettes and alcohol and porn and sex and too much food. Everyone loves something bad ;P

Its better to love something bad because the good will always prevail. The bad is the one to look at closely. By loving something bad will redirect it to something good.

It is an abomination to God to call evil good and good evil.
So they both go together. If you love something bad over something good, then you are hating good.

Hating something good - Hate destroys us in many ways and isn't a joyful way to live. It robs us of our peace and our ability to love or trust.

to hate something good definitely how can you hate a good thing everyone loves something bad but if you hate something good it ruins you
