You said that the next job is always better than the previous one. There you go, you're movin' on up. Stressful, yes, but I don't see it as a problem. Get moving on finding that next job.
"Loose" is the opposite of "tight". "Lose" is the opposite of "win".

I have lost jobs and I have been in a position where I had to fire someone.
The latter was far more difficult than the former, and I always knew that it would be. It was a question that haunted me for days, whether or not to fire this individual. I finally decided that it had to be done, although will not go into the circumstances, on the off chance that someone reading this knows both my identity and the individual who was fired.
I have learned this much, though, and I will pass it along to you.
In general, if you do not lose your job because of the company's financial circumstances, then you have in essence managed to fire yourself. By that I simply mean that you have, one way or another, acted in a manner that gave management no choice but to fire you. I am not talking about layoffs here - those are financial decisions.
I would urge you to examine your working life and see if you can find some commonalities between your actions on those jobs from which you were fired/asked to resign. Then work on those behaviours.
This has nothing to do with a god or any type of a message from any god. This is your own responsibility. As well, look into various job counselling services. They may also be able to be of assistance to you.
I wish you all the best in this personal exploration. I assure you that you will be much better off for having taken these actions.

I have been through this with housing issues the last 20 years Gone though floods earthquakes 2 Now currently going threw eminent domain . Can't wait until I can afford to move.
I just keep repeating the same issues with houseing over and over .I also was going through the same thing with employment I would work for a hospital and it would close one after another. 3 to 5 years I would totally love my job too.
I think God is getting ready to bless you big time with a good job each job teaches us more skills Just get letters from all your bosses update that resume .
You said God has given you a better job each time that is because you have had to reach and extend your reach just a little more.He making you tuft he's refining you because your gold he knows this . The same thing happened to me in my early years of married life. Yet everytime I lost a job, a better job comes both in monetary and status in life. Yet on the last after that glorious days I found myself struggling again, and then there came the time that our petition to migrate to the United States was granted.
Even here, I was not able to find a better job and life is just from hand to mouth to consider it. But i am content that the problem is just me..my own subsistence. My children are all grown ups and they are on their own, my wife is answering for my paystubs and I am doing the housechores. I did not ask God why it happened to me but I thank that the problem I have at this moment is not worse than I can see from others. Yet of course my content does not stop me from looking I just give thanks for whatever is there for the day but continue to ask for wisdom to find which road I have to take. I keep on looking and rejections after rejections surely must not rend me down.

Just maybe the lord wants you to be in another position , one in which you really do enjoy and not just a get by job perhaps that may be the message . Have you ever thought of making a life long commitment to teaching the word of god, becoming a preacher , pastor , revernd...
theres three options if it is inside of you to be devoted to such work!
I pray you find your way and that you will, ~by keeping the faith in the lord. knowing he does everything with purpose.~~~

Yes Praise the Lord when you get fired or lay-ed off! I am fired after 7 years right now and its the best thing that has ever happened to me. This is why, God will keep promoting you this way, he knows we get to comfortable in the land of ordinary, but hes got better things for. Now he uses this to get you back in touch with him, because the times are changing so rapidly, but here is why its great, In the end times which are here now, if your were still there and they gave you a big fat raise and you would think wow things are great now, But it will be the deception that allows the up and coming Antichrist put the mark of the beast on you,,, you would take it thinking I am just going with the system so I can feed my family, but that's how he will trick the masses, they will all take the mark, So i think God up roots us so we don't get to comfortable and learn to trust him wholly. And yes its harder when your married and kids but it will save them all in the end. The guy that has to deal with this will not take the mark because he has no fear of being unemployed because God feeds him. The scared will take it.You are Blessed, trust and wait!

For anyone to give you reasons would only be guess work. None of it can be proven. Only the very religious say that prayer works for them but the rest of us (including you) know that you can't rely on it. For every action there is a reaction. What's yours going to be? Try working for someone else again who can discard you like a used Kleenex or maybe start a business for yourself where the only one who can let you go is you. Churches are loaded with people who pray all the time and so many of them are poor. Don't rely on prayer, rely on you.

Fight the good fight. Keep the faith. God has given you 3 jobs already, the 4th may be the one that you are supposed to have. Be thankful that God is still working in your life. He gave you 3 children, he will provide a way for you to take care of them. I will pray for you but you still need to seek his guidance.
