I want to find books here in the United States.....Either in California or Colorado

Ooo, that's a toughie. The only people I know here in the States who want to know Nahuatl are academics, historians and linguists. I'm curious about your reason for wanting to learn it. Perhaps you know a speaker of Nahuatl? Then you could simply ask that person to talk to you in Nahuatl and try to gesture and repeat and so forth so you will understand. I doubt that there are many books around -- I happened to buy a little workbook for Spanish speakers to learn Nahuatl when I was in Mexico.

I typed "learn nahuatl" into Google and this link was the first I found. It seems to have a pretty complete set of recommendations for books and websites. Don't forget to check the libraries of any universities that you are close to; they're probably your best hope.

check with youre local Library if they dont have any then maybe they could tell you where you might find them.
