How do I convert downloaded music videos from limewire to mpg3?

I downloaded a music video from my music video files to the mpg3 file of my Kaser Mp3 player but it does not play it.

Instead of stripping the audio from the music video, wouldn't it just be easier to download the song in mp3 format from Limewire?

Mpg3 is not a video format. It's an audio format and is better known as mp3.
