the greek myths work just as good as the bloodly abrahamic big three. abrahamic religions insist on one god. other don't native americans have a better philosophy. so do the buddhist. i love the greek mythology it is fun and offers a workable system to guide a society. the abrahamic ways are horrible.

Joseph Campbell is the poster boy for false religion, which is merely atheism dressed up to look like one unifying faith.

Jesus Christ is a real historical individual who did what he did in front of the whole world, according to the will of the REAL God, and the world has never been the same since.

Those who can accept the reality of a supreme being, and who do the authentic theological research, rarely end up believing what Campbell does.

And no Christian I know practices anything resembling the "Abrahamic Religion" as Campbell might prefer to call it.

Abraham may have been our father in faith, but neither he nor the Israelites who came from him, enjoyed the benefits and freedom of the new covenant Christian faith we know today.

If you care to see the truth of the matter, send for my free Catholic Resource CD, which contans the greatest theological works of all time, written by the greatest believers of all time.

Then make an informed decision.

I love Greek mythology too, as do my kids. I had to study it in school, and my kids get to learn about it by playing "God of War". Not fair. "God of War" is fun! We don't believe in myths, but we do find many other belief systems much more attractive than the Big Three.

He's right, but he would not say "just" the power of mythology.

He had a very high regard for mythology.

Check the Catholic church before you assume Buddhism is different. I think the morality is almost identical...
