I don't know if it is really allowed, but as a Catholic I can always go to confession if I do cuss.

I don't believe any religion allows "Cussing", since cussing involves verbal taboos imposed by the religion.

Maybe some religions don't have Cussing, though....

It is wrong to swear and cuss - period. James 3:6, 8, 10 - And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature: and it is set on fire of hell. 8 - But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 10 - Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing, My brethren, these things out not so to be. Romans 3:13, 14 - Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deciet; the poison of asps is under their lips. 14 - Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness; Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your moth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

It depends on what you consider cussing! If you are talking about words like the F bomb, I wouldn't really know. If you are talking about taking the Lord's name in vain, then I would have to say all of them. Good Luck on finding out the true answer!

Christianity never directly says it is a sin. The verse most christians quote on the subject talks about keeping evil language from the lips. I interpret this to mean talking bad about people, or in appropriate things. i am a christian. I swear. I doubt i'm going to hell because of it.

Swearing, unless you take the Lord's name in vain, is a society issue not a religious one.

Those that call themselves "Wicca" and "Druidry" are a few examples... nearly all pagan religions focus on things other than social norms that don't harm. Does that help any?
