i have egzoma. it keeps leaving, than coming back. i got rid of it for like 7 months, now i have it ALL over my body. why does it keep doing this? and how can i make it go perminately away.?

It will probably break out from time to time for the rest of your life. Your doctor may or may not be able to determine what triggers it. There are a lot of treatments, but sorry, no cure. Ask your doctor about Elidel, it's expensive but works very well, and a tube of it can last a long time because you don't need to use very much at a time. It is prescription only.

It is an auto-immune disease that hides out in your spinal cord, and then something happens to trigger it, i.e. stress, then it comes back. Unfortunately, there is no cure. Your doctor can prescribe something to get your through the breakout until it goes back into remission.

I don't think eczema really goes away permanently, it just goes dormant for a while.
