I would get it checked out by a physician. Most probably you might have gallstones (cholecystitis) which in most cases need to be removed surgically through a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. But the only way to find out is to go to your physician and obtain some x-rays (CT scan, Nuclear Medical scans)

If it is your very low back it sounds like you may have strained a muscle especially if it hurts when you are walking and moving. If it just happened you should put ice to the area on and off for 24 hours then heat....and rest. Also use some anti-inflammatory pill like Motrin. You might need to get a muscle relaxer like flexoril from the doctor. If it is higher up your back it might be your gallbladder and I would go to the doctor. There are other things it could be but those are the most common. If it does not go away for sure see the doctor!

I know what you mean! I hurt myself almost 3 months ago doing gymnastics, and I pulled to hard on a full, and fell funny. I would reccomend having X-rays and/or a bone scan to make sure that there is no fractual damage. If they show something abnormal, have a catscan. If not, I would reccomend having an MRI done, because the MRI looks more for muscle, nerve, tissue, ect. problems than structual. I know all of this because you are going through what I am right now! I can't walk, squat, stand, bend over, twist, look behind me, or even lay on my side because of the stabbing pain that is constantly there. Please see your doctor, you may even have a slipped disk in your vertebre, which is very rare, but is possible, and also dangerous.

Your back is nothing to fool around with. I would suggest if it persists for any length of time that you set an appointment first with your family practitioner and follow his lead in any subsequent follow-up. Good luck with your back and the pain.

You may want to make an appointment with your medical doctor. If he cannot help you with your back pain. You may want to ask about being refered to a Neurologist.
