You are who you hang with! Hang out with the Eagles and not the Chickens....etc Ok I get the point, but what do you do with all the relationships/friends that are decent people that might be negative, or prideful, but everything is pointing me to find better friends.

Keep old friends BUT be sure to LOOK for new ones.

THE GOD will show you others!

Well they do say birds of a feather flock together. And what may I ask is wrong with the noble chicken? Negative people will bring you down and discourage you no matter how decent they are. Be friendly and kind but don't spend all your time with them. To say prideful people are decent would be an oxymoron. Find new friends, but keep the old.

Perhaps they don't do the things that fulfill their own needs.

Sometimes people are just too lazy to be happy. They'd rather complain than lose weight, etc.

THat either gets old nerves after awhile or I can become similarlly affected .

Personaaly, I like to be around people who mentor me while I mentor others...thus people on either side.

But, i like learning from others more than I like listening to whining, so that makes alot of my choices right there.

You find better friends, get involved in doing stuff with them, and the the ones that you weren't really enjoying being around will sort of fade out. I know it sounds cold, but I want to be happy when I spend time with other people. I want to look forward to hearing from them, or seeing them. If they stress me out or annoy me too much, see ya.

Judge not least you be judged!

Are you being forced with a weapon or threats to be with people that you disagree with or do not wish to be with?

I notice that you can see the wood splinter on the shoulders of others but you cannot see the wooden plank growing out of your own eye!

That's happened to me before. I guess you just got to watch out, becareful of whom you let into your life, private or not. Cos chances are, those who turn out to be bad people may use information about you to get back at you or worse, blackmail you. That's happened to me before, which is why I don't have a huuuuge flock of so-called "friends"- instead, i have 4 close friends.

I like my friends for who they are. They aren't perfect, and neither am I, so I'll have to accept that or lose them.
