I have thin hair that goes down to about 2 in below my collar bone. It is sort of wavy and it gets really puffy in the morning so I want to find something that would make it more straight so I could wear it down. Also if you have any other straighteners that might work please tell me. But I'm only willing to pay up to $50 on one.

2nd one. i have one of those and it works well. I switched over to the 100 dollar ones you see in the mall but that one u showed work just as well. It concentrates more on a section at a time and you can also curl with the small straightener.

To be honest, $50 is just in between the prices of a not so good straightner and a great straightner. Up until a few years ago I used the revlons, and other $20 target/walmart straightners. What i noticed is that it took longer to heat up, and I had to continuosly go over the same strands over and over. Then I tried a Chi which runs around $100. It is well worth the money, I even bought 2. It has REAL ceramic plates (don't fall for the cheap 25 dollar ones telling you they are ceramic plates because its a lie) so it heats up to 400 degrees in just 60seconds. I only have to go through my hair one time with it and it is perfectly straight. Ontop of that, because of the ions and such that it has my hair doesn't get all puffy in the rain or anything. Its well worth the money to buy a good straightner thats going to last for years/save you time/make your hair straighter.. than to get a cheap one thats not going to last as long and not do as great as a job. Thats just my opinion as well as my hairdressers.... You can get Chi's at most higher end salons and salon stores like Trade Secrets that are in the mall.

If you're willing to spend $50, I think you should go ahead and spring about $100 for a CHI flat iron. They are really the best, and they don't fry your hair like the cheaper ones will. They're truly worth every cent you pay for them. I had a cheapie Vidal Sassoon flat iron, and it completely destroyed my hair after using it for just a few weeks. Please consider the CHI even though it is more expensive. Sometimes it's worth it to pay for quality.

buy the one at walmart that is a black about 2 in. thick Conair. it's only $15 bucks and it's takes about 10 minutes to heat up. it works really well, even on my wavy, frizzy hair.

you dont want one of those skinny ones, becuase the skinnier it is, the easier it is to mess up, then you have to go back over it and it gets more burnt. also, mine has a hinge in the middle, if you get a hinge at the end, it breaks easier. i know, i used to have one (it was a Revlon too). also, the ones with a hindge in the middle cause less stress on the arm because you dont have to squeeze so hard.

I have the same kind of hair as you described and my straightner cost me 90 bucks! I had one like the ones you are looking at..and they worked but it would take me 30 min every morning! now it takes less then 10! I say go for the more expensive ones if you dont want to waste your time!

I'm sorry to say, but u usually cant find a good straightener for less than $50. if u do, it would probably ruin ur hair over time. I'd just splurge and find a titanium straightener, they're expensive, but its worth it. they last long, and if u buya bad one, they usually break easier.

If you are willing to spend at least $50.00, why not just go to the Beauty salon and get your hair straightened professionaly?
Or you can buy a Flat Iron for $20.00 +.

the first is the absolute best! my little sister has it adn its amazing! it has many different settings for your hair type.but the 2nd one is bad...the gold gets WAY too hot and they tend to break.i had a gold curling iron..and it broke in a week from the same company as that straightner.plus it burns your hair TREMENDOUSLY...hope this helps!
