I feel like it was my love and passion and zeal for chasing after him, like it says to in the bible, but then, not having any energy left to want to do my 9-5 job. Suddenly that job became really boring. Does this mean I have a different calling now? should i re-examine where i should be in 2007, because now I find myself only 30% into God, and using the other 70% to balance out my career now.

Stay at your job.

BE AN EXAMPLE!!!!!!!!

HE may have other plans for you-- but let HIM tell you when and where.

PRAY!

If you are truely bored with your current career and if this has been on-going for some time I believe you should look into something else. Think about how you feel when you get up in the morning to go to work. Have you ever said out loud, "I am really bored with this job" or something similiar to this? These are sure signs. I don't know what you do and not sure if it would be that easy just to jump into something else, but you know you can always ask God for guidance. 70% is alot of time being put in to a job that bores you. When I found myself being bored at anything I myself don't put alot of time into it because I can't. I lose interest and it becomes harder to concentrate. I found myself drifting. I too have found myself bored with something I have been doing for 9 years. I've decided to become self employed and work for myself verses to working for someone else. It wasn't a simple decision and I did pray and I did ask God for guidance before I came to this decision. Question is, what is it that you enjoy doing? See if you can find something doing just that. Or maybe there may be something you've always wanted to do. - Look into it. However, try not to procrastinate. Sometimes we overlook things because we don't get immediate results. Really pray, be honest with yourself and then act on it! I believe we all get tied up in our daily jobs and other responsibilities a little bit too much and forget to enjoy our family and our lives. Sometimes we get so busy and don't even realize it and forget our original focus. However some folks really enjoy what they do for a living and seeking the Kingdom of Heaven may not be as important to them as it is to you. If seeking God is truely your passion than seek him. There is only good that will come out of it. Try and find a balance and again seek God's guidance. Sounds like you already know that if you ask, you will receive. Once you began to walk he will be there to guide you.

The more responsibilities you have the more praying you should do. We often get cold spells in our prayer life but that is when we do it out of love for him. The feeling your get when it feels like He is right beside you for that is Him patting you on the back. Include God in your daily life no matter what it is do it F o r Him out of love. Since He loves you so much I promise you if you do it that way, you will know what to do.
