I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. That is a touching tribute you wrote - continue to write and it will help you. Try to remember all the wonderful things you can about him and make a scrapbook which will really help you to deal with all of these feelings. (hugs) to you.

That is a really lovely peom. I would keep on writing to help you get out your feelings. I really know how you feel. My brother committed suicide when I was your age. I was 17 and he was 29. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him or wonder why didn't he think of the future.
It is hard around the holidays, because I always think he should be here to know my daughter. But I know he was my angel for the years from when he died until I met my hubby. I never really cried until I got married. I guess I didn't feeel safe because my mother has a narcissistic personality. I don't know but try to grieve as much as you can. It really helps. You will go through the different stanges and it will ease as time goes on.....
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Email me anytime... melaniec928@yahoo.com

I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. You and your parents are having a tough time right now, I am glad you found a way to express at least some of your feelings. If it is helping you I am sure your brother would be happy for you. I just took a moment to read your poem again and it moved me to tears again. It is a beautiful poem and you are a talented writer. Show the poem to your parents, I am sure it will help them to show that you understand their pain and it will show them the pain you are going through.

That's a really great poem. I dont think it's corny at all. Sometimes the best medicine is writting about something like that. My twin sister died when we were 13. She...was unhappy and commit suicide. I admit, I was angry at her, more than anything. I wrote a poem about it, and later a short story about our stupid times together and all the dumb stuff we did. It really helped. Im so sorry to hear about your brother, I know how it is to lose a sibling. Great poem, not so great circumstances. Sorry, honey.

in simple terms staggering and extremely actual to actual and emotional thoughts of a loving sister. Who does no longer believe your sentiments? "The day I larned which you had died, I sit down on my own and ask God why...." large factor of asking in a poem. The deadly twist of destiny got here approximately in 2003 and you're nonetheless donning his image on your coronary heart...thats the perfect dedication in direction of a brother who's not greater; yet he's there with you interior of poem. shop the thread and do write consistently on diverse themes 'reason it style of feels you have large skill in poetry.
