I don't have much experience with acne creams, but the obvious solution would be to try other creams. I do tend to find that starting my morning with a good face wash such as St. Ive's Apricot Scrub helps keep my skin looking, overall, healthier throughout the day. Some acne washes will probably specify what skin types they're for, good luck!

Here is what i did for my acne
Step 1. see a doctor and ask for Minocycline and Benzaclin. The Minocycline is a pill that is taken in the morning and at night (1 pill each time) and the Benzaclin is like a lotion and is used twice a day also. The Minocycline does make your face look bad at first but then it does improve in about a month. A prescription can by given by a doctor, no dermatologist required, at least my doctor gave it to me.
Step 2. Get a good cleanser to wash your face, i use proactive and it works great. I break out when i dont use it though. With proactive continue to use the Benzaclin, it didnt hurt me, but ask your doctor first. Also i dont know if this maters or what but i didnt use the proactive until i finished the pills.

Hopes this works for you, if you try it.

If she hasn't been using it for that long, maybe less trhan a month, she should try and stay with it for a little bit longer and see if it works. Most of the time products like those take sometime to take effect. If it still doesn't work, try something else like proactive. I've heard really good feedback about that product. Or maybe something more natural will help like tea tree oil which you just apply on affected area of face after washing. It is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. You can get it from the store or health store.

I have sensitive skin and used to use Differin, it worked well but reallly dried up my skin. I started using Proactive and that works well also. If you use Proactive make sure you use the oil free moisturizer so that your skin does no dry or continue with acne because of other oiled moisturizers. I hope this helped

She should throw the crap away and get some dial sensitive liquid soap and foam face and then rinse with hot water and then cold ice water and then put aloe vera gel on face and acne is history.

Use Dial Antibacterial Soap, the yellow bar. It zaps the blackheads from my oily nose, and I don't have any more red bumps on my body.

if it's minor than tell her to leave it alone and to save her money. if it's minor and she doesn't touch them(don't pop them!) then they should go away soon. especially if she's in puberty. i'm not saying all will disappearat once, but they will. if it was really bad she might want to hide them or something, but it's minor....forget about it!
