to be basic, in christian faith, it is communion with god, for others it is nirvana, in general it is a place where there are no tears or \sadness, but it depends on the faith, my heaven is a beautiful place where i become part of everything again in body, and my mind is one with the universe

No one knows for sure exactly what Heaven is like...But the Bible gives us clues of where and what Heaven is like
John 14:1-
Phillipians 3:21
Revelations Chapter 4
Revelations Chaper 21
This tells about Heaven and about us when you go to Heaven if we are Saved Born Again. John chapter 3 tells some on being Born again. I use only the KJV of the Bible if you do not have a bible you can go to www.biblegateway.com and select the King James Version and look up these chapters and others if you would like you can read little commentaries related to the passages to help in understanding. Be born again and be ready for When Jesus comes in the clouds to take all believers home with him a home that has many mansions....God Bless

Read the bible
The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[d] The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.

I'm reading "90 Minutes in Heaven." It's a great book. I can't remember the author, and the book is out in my car right now, but I know I got it at Borders. It's a true story.

The Bible says it is a place with no sin. We will enjoy perfect intelligence, health, and happiness there. Perfect fulfillment. We will not sin in heaven. It is a place of no sickness or grief, that God will wipe away every tear. It is a place where we will worship our Creator and Redeemer in perfect harmony with one another. There will only be truth there. You will have your questions answered and your life will take on new and perfect meaning and purpose.

Someone wrote a true story about heaven? I find that very hard to believe. There is no evidence of an afterlife; sorry to disapoint you. All evidence suggests that this is the only life we get.
