There is never enough time to achieve what we wish to achieve. Don't reduce your sleep, that can increase your stress level as well as make it difficult to do your work.
I think that maybe you are expecting too much from yourself and you are giving yourself a beating. You need to take things one day at a time and learn to make time for yourself. Your family and you should be your first priorities.
Take things a day at a time. Maybe you need to have people help you, maybe you are taking too much onto yourself.
Don't feel rushed to get things done, do only what you can do and that is it.

you need to get at least 6 hours of sleep each night. anything less could start causing problems. You really should get 7-9 but that can't always be the case. If your talking about school... take less classes next semester. If your talking about work then you definitely need enough sleep to keep you safe. You may want to look for a different job that will pay more for less time or maybe less hours. You only get one life.

reducing your sleep is not the way to go ... maybe you could just see if there is any way you could possibly manage your time a little better. lack of sleep messes with you in many ways... stress levels increase, energy decreases, your senses fail you, you can't think as clear as you would with more sleep, and it goes on and on! you have to sleep! don't decrease your sleep unless you've been sleeping like 10 hours or something like that ... then perhaps you could sacrifice the few hours.

everything goes into one of four sections
important and needs done (paying bills the day they are due) must do
not important but needs done (paying bills 3 weeks ahead) if you got time do it
important but does not need done (grinding coffee beans) why buy ground coffee
not important does not need done (listening to the same story by your friend for the 9th time) Say sorry I heard this and i really need toXXXX. watch a boring movie just cause you paid 10.00 to get in. Leave do something else

The time we actually work, is very little, proportional to how long we're "on the job"...
Just increase the time you're getting things done and not wasting time.

Work smarter, not longer. What type of work is your job?
