i have really thick, (people say beautiful) strawberry blonde hair. I love my hair, except after i take a shower. After that, if i blow dry it, straighten it, or towel it, no matter what it ends up frizzy and thick and... just plain annoying. how do i deal with it, cuz i cant stop taking showers!

I have the same frizz issue, there is a serum I get called "Frizz Buster" by Fantasia...you just comb it through damp hair and it workd pretty well. For the thickness you could go to a good hair dresser and have them thin it out, but make sure you apply the serum to slightly wet hair or it will look greasy.

Wear a shower cap and wrap head in a towel when not shampooing. John Frizze products really work well for the frizzies

like omg! i have the same problem. i have a really thick and lots of ppl say its gorgeous. expect i have brown hair instead of strawberry blonde. but try using SUNSILK. (the blue color--for thick hair) it will make your hair faster to straighten it & blow dry. and beside try to put your hair in section, so it will be easier to straighten your hair.

You need a frizz ease product, like a good mouse that will not dry out your hair, or a moisturizer....also purchase a Chi iron the best invention ever you can use it to just smooth your hair out. It can be used for all hair types.

They say wash your hair like 2 or 3 times a week because you can dry out your hair. You are not giving the natural oils a chance to develop your hair. =<)

Hello! I have a friend that has the same problem when the weather is crappy out. She uses a product that she buys at her hair salon which similar products are available elsewhere as well. It is a spray on conditioner or anti-frizz serum.

Get a shine serum. I like Sleek and Shine by Garnier. John Frieda does a good one. Apply it to your damp hair. It'll help get it to not be so poufy, and will help with shine. The humidity is making your hair big... Sucks, but it's the price we have to pay for hair like ours.

Same problem,, I love the therma silk products -- especially the spray/leave in conditioner! It really tames my fly away hair! Plus it does not dry it all out.
Little pricey but hey we all have our price on things!
Good luck

that happens to me to. i only wet my hair in the shower if I'm washing it. maybe you could try a sleek spray, to use while straightening. this stops fly-aways
