I know this one exercise....that I rarely ever do, because I always either forget to do it, or am just too tired. You sit on her knees....well you kneel and sit straight up. Then you put your right arm over your head....stretch it over all the way until you reach your fingertips to floor on your left. And you do that for as many times, maybe 10 times, and switch so that you're doing the same thing but with your left arm. Now, this may not actually hit your, "love handles," but I know they work on your obliques, which could in turn be your love handles. I hope that wasn't too confusing. I guess I don't work on them enough to know if they have affected my love handles, so far I don't have much of a problem in that area.....but one day I probably will.

mid torso exercises, like stair climbers, ski machines, cycling, stomach crunches, leg lifting (whil flat on your back and then on either side, raising the leg sideways towards the ceiling and holding, slowly increasing in number and time. 15 minutes every morning is better than two hours once a week, eat more fresh fruit and vegetables, stop drinking any soda, get plenty of sleep (sleep deprivation can add fat!).

Do abdominal sit-up, with right and left trunk rotation exercises. Please start with minimum repetitions only, like 10 to 15 reps. and progress as tolerated every week, until you reach 100 reps. then stay there and do it everyday.
