I saw posted in an answer on this site a height and weight chart for Great Danes and wonder if there is one for Labradors. I'm adopting a pup who looks to be a pure yellow lab in every way, except for short legs. Since he's a rescue, he might be a mix. At 5-6 mos old he weighs 28 lbs. Is he likely to reach 55-60 lbs, even with those short legs? He isn't ill-proportioned, just a bit height-challenged! I don't care if he is a mix, I just don't want to end up with a small dog. Medium to large is what we want.

if he's already 28 lbs he will more than likely be a medium dog. by some standards that is already a medium dog. if you want to know go to www.akc.org and look under labradors and there will be conformation guidlines that say averages for labs.

I haven't seen one but I am very interested to see if somebody here has one. I'm getting into showing Labs so any info like this is of great interest! Sorry I can't help you, I have a color chart (for breeding) but nothing else.

Could be an English Labrador Retriever which tends to be shorter than American Field Trial (what you normally see) which is a good thing. they tend to be calmer. Their heads are bigger and blockier than American Field Trial.

Good Luck
