there are only 10 ?s on the test now and they only need to answer 7 correctly..it is actually up to the ones administering the test to decide what to ask I understand.. Most of the immigrants can guess 7 of them right..I heard someone say they took it and got less than 7 right and so the person giving it kept asking ?s until they got 7 right..then why give the DAM N test.. I think they need to make it a lot harder with a lot more questions. I personally think they should have to take a history course like students take in college before they can even apply.

Any legal American should know those things thru our history classes in school.I think its easy too but unless you studied
could you answer those questions about another country ? I doubt if I could.Its good that anyone trying to become a citizen should learn these things ,but I agree its far too easy.
It should take a little more to become a citizen of the greatest nation on earth.That's a totally unbiased opinion from a patriotic native born American.

That is all basic American History. I would expect anyone that wanted to become an American citizen to know this information. I would want to know the history of a country that I was considering obtaining citizenship to. What's so hard about that?

I think that is the old test. It has changed. There are links on the immigration services web page. However, there isn't a single question on your list that I don't know the answer to. I think the purpose is just to have new citizens learn about American history and government, and I don't think that is bad.

in case you have no interest in going to college, perhaps no longer. If this is not the case than tests given in school to purpose scholastic flair so as to get into college ought to unquestionably be taken heavily.

Yes it is important for those becoming an American citizen. They usually know more than the ordinary American when they get through this.
