I would change the way police and courts deal with potential criminals who are treated guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way around. I alway thought that was wrong. What a hypocrisy!!

In my answer I am refering to is that our justic system states that a person is innocnece until fond guilty. Yet when a every person is arrested or brought to court you are treated guitly until proven innocence. There is very little kindness shown to first time potential offenders. An assumption of guilt is automatic strapped on you until the judge or jury says otherwise. Thank GOD for DNA!

Make prison time actually mean something again. Prison shouldn't be a vacation with weight room's, basketball courts, cable television and so on. People work their butts off to have some of these things so that convicted felons can use our taxes to sit around and do nothing. Society wonders why the recidivism rate is so high. DUH make a prison into a prison... make the inmates work.

You should learn your facts before writting your thoughts down! It is the Criminal Justice System....i.e. justice for the criminals. Our fore-fathers believed that would be better system than the one England had at the time. Now if you are arrested you receive so many benfits to put on a proper defense. And if it is a jury of your peers, all you need is one and the verdict is out. Meanwhile the victims suffer even more. I would have to say a Victim Justice System would be better.

I have found, after 61 years of living, that there are those that are willing to work and those who think others owe them! The idea that any government owes a job or anything is passing the buck and a refusal to take blame for laziness! Some have worked 3 jobs to support there family and have made their dream of independence a reality. GET OUT AND WORK AND WORK HARD.. THEN SEE IF YOU WANT TO GIVE TO LAZY PEOPLE OR JUST GIVE A HAND UP TO THOSE IN REAL NEED?

Yeah, we desire a transformation, yet no longer certainly one of those replace the liberals envision. the individuals could replace to re-easy their devotion to certainty, intending to reject the prejudice and lack of expertise of the media. in actuality that maximum journalists have not got a clue what they're observing lots of the time whilst the matters are regulation, government, or something armed forces, they basically checklist what they think of in line with their own prejudices. human beings could envision the information greater. we could return to the form, and give up dropping time and money on the UN. If the U. S. could take action someplace, each and all the UN does is postpone the inevitable, making the mind-blowing action greater difficult and high priced. i'm no longer attentive to a single difficulty they have ever even ameliorated, no longer to show solved.

Hmmmmm ONE THING.... Hmmmmm ummmm
That's a toughie... hmmmmmm Ok, how about redirecting freight trains to go AROUND the big cities.

And if I could change just one thing about Texas... that the railway system would be outlawed. Too danged many train wrecks and engineers who fall asleep and kill innocent people.

I'm sure I could come up with a deeper and more profound answer, but let's face it... I'm sleepy. G'night!

I would have to say Change the Legal System!! it is too Easy Going. we are all human beings and we make mistakes. but some of these Murderers are getting off to easy. I would also Bring Back the Death Penalty. and Kill some of those Killers much sooner. some of them should die in 30 Days! not in 10 years on Death Row.

I would change the justice system so that it favors victims instead of criminals. What a hypocrisy!

I would have Democrats and Republicans agree with each other on issues in Senate and Congress, and not make decisions just because their party recommends that decision.

I would not change a thing thanks to the founding fathers this country is as stable as a rock. I not mind the fringe trouble makers, they just spout out anti-American things, but as long as they are here I know they really do not mean it , else they would be in another country.

I'd want every American's IQ raised by 100 points, at least. Everything else would fall into place after that.
