I got a ticket and forgot to pay it. I am paying the ticket tomorrow, it is two weeks late. Is my license going to be suspended?? I got the ticket in Delaware and my license is in MD.

Some states have extradition rights for fines, meaning they can arrest you and port you back to Delware. The state of Delaware cannot suspend your license nor can they motion for maryland to suspend you license. Delaware may be able to increase you fine as a result of the late payment.

you should recive a letter in the mail stating that it is past due and have a deadline to pay it by but most states wait a month or so before they send out the notice. if u recive a notice after u pay the fine contact the state where u owe the fine and contact ur home state to notify them that u have paid the fine and keep the proff that u paid it.
