just go with the one that matches your family the best and you think will be a great companion for years to come. and YAY for you for knowing what you want.

like chiuahaua lady said its more of a perefance sorry about the spelling, but if you have small children then the bigger one is the best and probably more healthy,,, they are such wonderful dogs, are very high strung and hyper, but they are the best dogs they think they are a big dog and are very fearless,, I own 4 of them and all of them have their own personality,, but i havent owned a better dog then they are,, if you want the bigger one then great but if you want the smaller one then thats great too,,, so which ever one fits for you and the one that touches your heart first then that is the one i would suggest that you get,,, I hope this has helped and good luck with your new min pin
EDIT:
Can you please email me cause i would to ask you a couple of questions about the Min Pins my email address is hunterdog_34@yahoo.com

It is more of a preference. Do you like the really small dogs, or one a little bigger. The bigger ones are sturdier, maybe healthier. If you have small children, the bigger one would be best. They are great dogs, but pretty hyper.

If you're looking at breeding it, opt for the smaller one, they'll bring more money. But the larger will give you fewer health problems.
