You can't make anyone like you. Don't waste your time waiting for something that might never happen. Instead, go out with the guy you're not to sure about. You never know--it could be a pleasant surprise.

This is an easy one! You need to express your interest in the other guy, in front of your "really good" guy friend. Talk to him about the other guy and ask his opinion as to how you should approach the other guy, get his attention, etc... The way he responds to your line of questioning and your interest in the other guy will be a clear indication as to whether or not you should wait it out. If he is cool and casual with his response and seemingly helpful and full of suggestions then don't wait around; he's not interested in you as a girlfriend. However, if he is "standoffish" and hesitant, or tries to dissuade you from approaching the other guy, then you might want to stick it out because he's obviously jealous. Give it a shot! What have you got to lose?!
Good luck!

Don't wait for him. If he gets over her it's no guarantee he will start liking you. Guys tend to want what they can't have. You might put some distance between you and him to get him to look at you harder. You also don't want to always be wondering if he's with you as a second choice.

The guy you like might never like you back. However, it wouldn't be fair to the guy you might go out with if you didn't like him as much as you liked someone else. It could result in problems with the relationship.
So if you feel like your feelings for the guy you like would make it so you couldn't have a relationship with someone else you shouldn't be with anyone else.

first of all you should let him know how you feel. suck it up and tell him. you never know he may feel the same but not want to say anything just like you. if you dont it will eat you up 4ever. if he doesnt feel the same at least you will be able to move on. it will hurt but youll get over it.
