It appears that a couple of souls met and felt a compassionate connection. Not too much went beyond this profound and intense connection. One sent the other a card. Could the guy miss the message that she likes him?

Remember he is a man!!! Sometimes you have to pretty much spell it out for them. Don't give up, try something else a little more forward. Some guys like it when the girl makes the first move, then you'll know for sure. What do you have to lose, especially if there was a real connection!! If you don't do anything else then you will always wonder what could of been, trust me, I learned my lesson a long time ago!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Not likely. Sometimes our intense connections are not as mutual as we think they are. Or they are, but they are only for the moment, not meant to be extended into the future, for as many possible reasons as there are people.

Check out www.loveadvice.com. Dr. Tracy has very good advice on how to date sensibly, so that you will interest a man without coming on too strong.

If you feel a strong connection on a date, enjoy it for the moment. We don't know if it's meant to be fleeting, or to last. But it's great to have had it that once, hmm?

I remember a guy who I liked, who wasn't interested in me the way I wanted (he had a GF, and a habit of giving out "interested" signals to women all the time, as it turned out), but I still remember the absolute joy I felt just riding in a car with him. I wouldn't give up the memory of that feeling for anything! And no, it didn't end well, but it did end honestly. :-)

What kind of compassionate connecion leads to a single post card? Was it blank?

That would depend on if he has someone else in his life that he is committed to, but if she sent a card I would think he knows she is interested. If it is meant to be it will come back to her
