It's not that I don't believe you guys who say "you can die from over anxiety",but why don't they ever make a note about it out to the public? And would the reason I have frequent colds have to do with this?

People can die from an anxiety disorder. It puts a physical strain on their bodies, which can lead to all sorts of physical problems, even death. Death from it might be rare, but it's possible.

Edit: They don't tell the public worst case scenarios if they can avoid it because they don't want what they consider to be unnecessary panic. I've personally known some doctors and health care workers for years and know that not everything is told to the public about AIDS for this reason. And with aniety, why would they want to give you something to be more anxious about? Especially since death is rare, as I stated.

Depending on how bad your anxiety is and how frequent it is, then it can place a strain on your immune system, making you more susceptible to colds and making it more difficult to get over them. Not to make you more anxious about this, though.

They can get bad and really interfere with things that need to be done.
For example, I don't like to drive a manual transmission and will worry and worry and obsess until my stomach knots up, cramps horribly, and then I get terrible cold sweats and diarrhea,....yeah..it's awful.

They keep you from doing things you want to do.
