About $100. Unless you can find a sucker.

You left out a few important details as to its value.
Is it a two door. (They are worth more) Sportier Looks I guess,
What engine does it have? A V-8 (305 in that smog year) is worth more than the V-6.
What color and interior package does the car have? If it is powder blue with blue felt interior and a column shift then you are looking at Grandmas car.
But, if it is re, black or white, with a black interior and console shift and front bucket seats then the car is worth more.
I am not sure if HURST was adding stickers to those cars or not. (HURST stopped adding real performance when the smog laws came into play around 73, 74).
Well to answer your question. If you are looking at a mint 53,000 mile powder blue V-6, and you really really want it. $4,000.00 tops.
But if it is a real clean 53,000 mile v-8 car that was ordered properly and not cut to pieces by some Dale Jr. wannabe, then it is worth up to about $6,000.00
Of course this is opinion. These cars were very popular then and now. The right person with some sentimental attachment will pay what "he wants to" for it.
The 78 was the first year for the mid-size body. Early 70's 0r better yet a mid 60's car is a better car and a better value.
Good Luck.

HI! NICE CAR!! Too bad it has so many miles. How does it run? Any alternator problems? 2 OR 4 door? Hmmm...where do you live??? ( ex-hubby is looking)
You can go to www.buyandsell.ca Check out other cars like yours and compare prices's. Id say $1500-$1900canadian dollars, depending on the engine, alternator, body and undercarriage. Sold mine for $2000canadian, a few years ago.( 2 door, mint condition, British racing green)
Good luck! :o)

lip service has the values down. I totally agree with the values. the cutlass supreme is a lowrider favorite and holds excellent value as a 2 door.

i own a repair shop, and actually its worth a lot more than you,d think it is,,i seen one sell a while back here where I'm at for 4500 and it to was pretty nice also, wasn't as low on miles as yours ,,but it ran real good and had a nice set of wheels and tires on it,,but it needed work,,and brought 4500 real easy,so if this is yours,,you can ask a lot for it,,there's is a buyer for everything,,and they will be someone out there who wants a nice one,,you just have to advertise it,and see what happens ,id say it will sell pretty fast,,those was good looking cars ,and that one sounds real nice,,good luck, hope this help,s.,,happy new years.

Since it's an oldsmobile not much. But if it looks and runs good. how much do you want for it. Some folks look for good deals on oldedr good looking cars. 53K is a cream puff.
Clean it up real good and I think starting out at 3K and work your way down.....If it goes fast at 3K don't worry that you could have got more....it's a blessing.
