Wow, I have one child, but I know for a fact, I'd love many many more if I had them, and all equally. I'm not one to favor one over the other... I feel that's very unfair to your children. My mom did that with me and my younger brothers. She favored me the least. I know this for many reasons... but she went so far to say this, "Well here's the order of your eyes I like the best- Middle child, youngest, then oldest (me)" Sweet huh? My two younger brothers have blue eyes, I have green. Anyways, that order she gave has always been the order I feel she loves us... and it makes me very very very sad. I'd never do any of that to any of my children. And yes, I hope to have more some day, so they ALL feel loved, unlike myself growing up.

I dont think you can really love one child more than another. I think maybe you have a lot more in common with the other one but your love will always be the same. All of your kids will have something you like a lot about them which will make you bond with them more. For example, if your husband was a football, and one your sons loved football, they share the same interest and will have a closer bond, but he will still love each and every one of his children the same! you shouldn't pick and choose, they are all your beauitiful children!!

I love both my kids the same but I do get along better with one or the other more depending. I can say I tend to prefer the company of my older son sometimes because it's easier and we have similar personalities. My younger son is a challenge sometimes but he's a lot of fun too. Love them both a lot but just have different relationship with each.

Not more, but differently. I think that is OK. Time has a funny way with relationships. My daughter and I are cut from the same mold. We are very close. My son makes me want to pull my hair out. But this does not upset me because I know it is temporary. Someday my daughter will drive me nuts (teen years) and my son will be my Mama's Boy. It was the same with my relationship with my own parents. During some phases, I was closer to one than the other.

I do everything in my power to treat all three of my kids the same, but I do love the second a tad more. He was the only one we planned, and he is so much like his father, it's like being with him when I'm with our son :)

No. I love each of them differently and for different reasons, but I wouldn't say that I love one more than the others. They're all so special.
