I wouldn't pay anything, I personally believe the tv stations should adjust the volume.

Well all the latest Philips TV sets have a FEATURE called AVL (Automatic Volume Leveller) which adjust the sound level automatically to same level if the sound modulation level is changed.

to get same sound level during commercial breaks, just turn on the AVL feature

Nothing. I pause during the commercials and then go back to live tv when they are over. I haven't seen a commercial since I got Tivo over a year ago.

God, PLEASE be really inventing one!!

I would pay $100...I think that's reasonable.

I also think, that if such a device cannot be created, that a law should be passed.
